Pathophysiology and current methods for drug delivery, describe a current way of growth factor delivery into the wound bed. Wound repairing and healing process is a complex process where skin and tissue get repaired. The process is divided into hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, maturation. There is a great number of risk factors that individually and combined may predispose to impaired wound healing.
