Tissue is a collection of cells with similar structures that work together as a unit. The intercellular matrix is a non-living substance that fills the spaces between the cells.
Regenerative Medicine focuses on finding ways to regrow, repair, or replace cells, organs, and tissues that have been damaged or diseased. The development and use of therapeutic stem cells, tissue engineering, and the creation of artificial organs are all examples of regenerative medicine.
